The alumnae side has lost this fixture four years running and shows no sign of learning from it. The school squad is through to the regional finals this season, which is unlikely to help. Two sevens, four quarters, and a squad that is picked on the afternoon from whoever turns up in the right shoes. Fitness is not required and has never been in evidence. If you played at any point between 1960 and last summer you are eligible, and several of the regulars have not played since they left. Spectators very welcome - the match is on the astro with tea afterwards in the pavilion, and it is a good deal funnier to watch than to play.
