Fifty years since the class of 1977 left, and the reunion falls in the centenary year, which makes it the one everybody has been counting towards. Lunch in the dining hall, a tour for anyone who wants one, and the 1977 photographs out on the tables rather than behind glass. Two members of staff who taught the year are coming. The afternoon is deliberately unstructured after two o'clock, because every reunion this school has run has told us the same thing: people want to talk, not to be organised. Partners welcome.
