The Friends' biggest afternoon of the year: forty stalls in the hall and the dining room, a tombola that takes more than anyone expects, and the school choir at two o'clock.
It raised GBP 4,200 last year, every penny of which went back into the school, and it is run entirely by parent volunteers. The refreshments are in the dining hall rather than the corridor this year, which last year turned out to be worth several hundred pounds on its own.
Entry is a pound on the door, under-sixteens free. Every stall takes cards. If you can spare two hours on the day, or a raffle prize, the Friends would like to hear from you.
