| Centenary |
The school opened its doors in September 1927 to fifty-one girls and three members of staff. It turns one hundred next year, and the governors have agreed a programme that runs the length of 2027 rather than crowding into a single weekend.
It opens on 22 January in the Main Hall, where the Head will set out the year and the Centenary Fund appeal formally launches. March brings the Class of 1977 back for their fifty years on. The Centenary Festival takes the whole site on 3 July - exhibition, decade tents, the afternoon music and the opening of the centenary garden. The year closes on 25 September with a service of thanksgiving in Salisbury Cathedral, which is where the school marked its fiftieth and its seventy-fifth.
Dates, times and booking for all of it are on the events page. Nothing is ticketed by year group: come to any of it.
