The careers evening is back on 19 November, and the format is the one that worked last year: no talks, no panel, just twenty tables and a hundred and fifty students moving between them every eight minutes. It is exhausting and it is by some distance the most useful hour the sixth form gets.
We need about twenty alumni. The subject matters less than you would think - students ask the same questions of a vet and an accountant, and the ones who do not yet know what they want get most out of talking to somebody whose job they had never heard of. If you took an unusual route, or a route you would not take again, you are especially useful.
Book a table on the events page, or offer to mentor through the careers page if November does not work. Parking is on the field and there is food.
